THE CLIENT
MATERNA Information & Communications is the largest German IT&C service provider and has been active in Romania since 2007. The NNC Services team has taken over MATERNA’s communication strategy in Romania in the summer of 2008, with the purpose of increasing the IT services provider’s visibility on the profile market and, implicitly, acquiring new clients.
They wanted to actively promote the Maximo solution, they were providing in partnership with IBM. This solution was specially developed and dedicated to the utilities industry. In order to help them extend their reach on this market, NNC decided to organize a national event targeting key decision makers from gas & oil, water and the energy industry.
CHALLENGES
- Key decision makers in this industry were very hard to get to and difficult to approach.
- This market was very little educated regarding the benefits of IT solutions.
- There were significant time constrains, as NNC had to organize the event in just one month, with limited resources.
