Romanian Outsourcing companies can significantly boost their market share in the current global crisis conditions

NNC Services has achieved an average growth of 43% in new business opportunities for Romanian IT outsourcing companies

(Bucharest, July 23, 2009) – Competition between outsourcing IT companies will increase significantly by 2010, according to the latest studies from the consultancy company Gartner IT, becoming increasingly difficult for these companies to acquire new customers. In this time of recession, when the demand for IT outsourcing services is growing, Romanian companies in the field have a chance to conquer very interesting markets, if they manage to differentiate themselves from other cheaper but with poorer quality services suppliers.

“The supremacy of Indian companies on outsourcing market began to falter in recent months. Romanian outsourcing providers must have a clearer specialisation, to segment their market very well. They have no reason to hesitate to position themselves globally and to compete with other stronger suppliers, but that are not using same innovative work methods.” says Lucian DORNEANU, Senior Lead Generation Consultant at NNC Services.

Dorneanu lists several effective ways through which Romanian outsourcing companies can reach large customers in Western Europe, the United States or Canada:

  • Generate sales opportunities (lead generation). This implies a very good profiling of potential customers and contacting decision makers in companies with value proposals to perfectly match the business needs of the moment. NNC Services helped Romanian-Canadian provider of IT outsourcing services OSF Global Services to obtain 25% of its turnover last year by generating sales opportunities in the United States.
  • Marketing and communication, complementing methods of generating sales opportunities. Companies must generate quality content to be perceived as experts in the field.
